Rococo Acland Street is soon to celebrate 10 years of successful business in the heart of St Kilda. As a birthday present to ourselves we decided to order our very own Morello Forni wood fire pizza oven all the way from Genoa, Italy.
After a 3 month boat journey, a crane lift through the roof of Rococo and an exciting 3 weeks of perfecting our new Neapolitan style pizza we are finally ready to bring Melbournians an even more authentic taste of Naples.
Our new wood fire pizza oven weighs almost 4 tonne and is currently among Melbourne’s biggest freestanding wood fire pizza ovens. This baby can cook 10-12 Pizzas in approximately 2 minutes and the result, a perfectly blistered, smoked, delicious thin based slice of heaven.
